Season after season, Maria Grazia Chiuri finds a solution to incorporate feminism into her design inspiration at Dior. This season, that comes courtesy of “The Subsequent Period,” a gallery of work from visible artist Mariella Bettineschi that includes feminine portraits starting from the sixteenth to the nineteenth century: “Their eyes, minimize and duplicated, query the judgment that has conditioned – and nonetheless circumstances – ladies.” It served as each a backdrop for the runway and a slogan throughout tees and gloves.
