Final week, New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand introduced a brand new piece of laws that might tackle labor issues and employee’s rights within the U.S. garment business. The Fashioning Accountability and Constructing Actual Institutional Change (FABRIC) Act was launched to the Senate on Might 12, with Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ), Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and Senator Bernie Sanders (D-VT) as co-sponsors.
